We’re looking for a dedicated and experienced web designer to join our team.

You’ll work closely with other creative professionals to create appealing, user-friendly websites that would make anyone – from your client to your grandma’s great aunt – proud.

Requirements:
  • 2 – 5+ years experience
  • Bachelors degree in graphic design, web design, or other art-related field
  • Keen understanding of design principles (web and graphic design)
  • Strong understanding of HTML and CSS, ability to hand-code
  • Strong working knowledge of Javascript/JS Libraries (e.g., Jquery)
  • Demonstrated proficiency in: Dreamweaver, Photoshop and Illustrator
  • Experience with WordPress (custom theme design and development)
  • Familiarity with/working knowledge of PHP
  • 2+ years experience with designing & building ecommerce websites
  • Creative and critical thinking skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Outstanding communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Able to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines
  • Take ownership of projects and accept responsibility for actions
  • Able to work independently and with a team
  • Not willing to settle for "good enough"
  • Willingness to learn new skills and take on new challenges and responsibilities
  • Must provide links to live samples of work OR link to portfolio
Desired:
  • Familiarity with HTML5 and CSS3
  • Knowledge of Flash, ActionScript
  • Familiarity with search engine optimization principles and practices
  • Knowledge of and experience with social media
